Chardá is a parent of two boys and lives in Spring Valley. She is a school district volunteer, PTA board member, District Advisory Council
representative, School Site Council member, and former chairperson. Her top three focus areas are technology, budget transparency, and safety. She is endorsed by Run Women Run, a bi-partisan organization that inspires, recruits, trains, mentors and supports pro-choice women for elected and appointed office.

Jerry is a licensed architect and previously served on the School Board. He has volunteered for over 20 years within the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District and received the Rose Award in 2007, which stands for Recognized for Outstanding Service to Education. He was also Chairman of the Prop M Bond Oversight Committee. He will focus on fiscally responsible oversight of spending and investment for school safety, innovative education programs, technology, and facilities maintenance, and upgrades.

Rebecca is a current teacher at San Diego Unified and lives in La Mesa with her husband and two children. She has taught grades 1 - 8 throughout her career and has a masters degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. She is excited to work with all stakeholders - parents, teachers, students, staff and community members to strengthen the culture in each of our schools. She is also endorsed by Run Women Run.
